ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Daily) — New Zealand-based aviation expert Adrian Hamilton Manns has been nominated as the new Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). His appointment will be subject to the completion of necessary legal and administrative requirements.

According to information that has come to light, Adrian Hamilton Manns has approximately 28 years of experience in the international aviation sector and has served in senior management positions at various leading airlines around the world.

Adrian Hamilton has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Oman’s airline SalamAir, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kazakhstan’s FlyArystan.

In addition, he has also held important management positions at Virgin Australia, India’s IndiGo Airlines, and South African Airways. His professional experience spans various international aviation markets and airline management affairs.

According to a report by private TV channel Sama News, Adrian Hamilton’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer is expected after the completion of necessary requirements.

An important point regarding Adrian Hamilton’s professional performance is that during his leadership at FlyArystan, the company’s revenue increased from $57.4 million in 2020 to $277.8 million in 2023, representing an increase of approximately 384 percent.
