Mobile internet package prices rise further in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The cost of mobile internet and hybrid services in Pakistan has increased further, with some monthly packages reaching up to Rs2,800, according to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) data available as of September 30, 2026.

Several 15-day packages also cost more than Rs1,000. Telenor’s 15 Day Extreme package, offering 130GB of data, costs Rs1,043, while Jazz’s 15 Day AIO package with 10GB costs Rs869. Telenor’s 15-day package offering 30GB is also priced at Rs869.

Among weekly packages, Jazz’s Super Woman Bundle offers 12GB for Rs234, while the Weekly Super Max package provides 30GB for Rs608.

Monthly packages include Jazz’s 6GB Monthly Bachat Offer at Rs478, the 20GB YouTube & Social Plus package at Rs1,043, and the 30GB Monthly Video & Social Max package at Rs1,304.

As per a report, the PTA says several lower-priced packages provide limited data for specific services such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok rather than offering full internet access. This may increase costs for users who require unrestricted internet for education, business and other online activities.

The telecom regulator has advised consumers to check the latest package details through the respective company’s website, mobile application or helpline before subscribing. The PTA also noted that certain packages may vary by region.
