PTI Announces Starting Point for October 4 Long March
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that its planned long march on October 4 will begin from southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi set to lead the procession.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan, in a statement posted on social media platform X, said the October 4 protest march would not be postponed under any circumstances and would formally begin its journey from southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The provincial minister rejected speculation about a possible delay, saying that all preparations for the march had been completed and Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would personally lead it from the front.
PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President and central leader Junaid Akbar Khan also confirmed the plan in a post on X, stating that Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi would lead the long march from the South Region on October 4.

The announcement comes as the PTI continues preparations for the planned protest, with the party reiterating its commitment to proceeding with the march as scheduled.
