Pakistan Peoples Party Balochistan Meeting Turns Into a Fish Market; Divisional and District Officials Level Serious Allegations Against Provincial Ministers of Selling Jobs

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat) – After divisional and district officials of the Pakistan Peoples Party publicly leveled allegations against the party’s provincial ministers of selling jobs, “thief, thief” slogans were raised by the ministers’ supporters against each other, and the meeting began to present the scene of a fish market.

A meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Provincial Executive Committee, Divisional and District Presidents, General Secretaries, and other officials was held under the chairmanship of PPP Provincial President and Senator Sardar Umar Khan Gorgage and Central Executive Committee member and former Federal Minister Sardar Baz Muhammad Khetran. During the meeting, PPP divisional and district officials piled up complaints against the party’s provincial ministers and women assembly members who succeeded on reserved seats.

During the meeting, some officials also leveled allegations against PPP provincial ministers of selling government jobs in their respective districts, upon which the ministers’ supporters and opponents raised “thief, thief” slogans against each other, causing the meeting to present the scene of a fish market. During this, senior party leaders stopped party officials and workers from raising slogans against each other and directed them to exercise patience and tolerance.

In the meeting, some officials also severely criticized the PPP women who succeeded on reserved seats and said that it is not known from where they were brought and imposed on PPP workers. Women who succeeded on reserved seats do not give any importance to party workers.

Speakers said that party workers are making sacrifices and giving martyrdoms across the province, while ministers and their spoons are taking benefits and perks, which is unacceptable in any way.

Addressing the meeting, officials of the divisional, district, and provincial councils said that the party’s Provincial Secretary Information is inactive; if he cannot run the party office, he should immediately resign from the post and this post should be given to another active party worker.
