Anti-Corruption Has Registered a Case, Raids Ongoing to Arrest Other Accused: DG Anti-Corruption Kakar’s Revelation

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — A major scandal of misuse of official powers, corruption, and forgery has come to light in Quetta. The Tehsildar of Quetta, through collusion with a Qanungo and a Patwari, altered official records and illegally cancelled the transfer of a property without giving any kind of information or notice to the original owner.
The Anti-Corruption Department has arrested the main accused, Tehsildar Abdul Ghaffar Notizai, while raids are being conducted to arrest other accused involved.
DG Anti-Corruption Balochistan Naseebullah Kakar said that a complaint had been received that, through the collusion of Quetta’s Tehsildar, Qanungo, and Patwari, the transfer of a property was illegally cancelled by altering official records. During initial investigations, it was revealed that Abdul Ghaffar Notizai, Tehsildar Quetta, along with Nasruddin Qanungo and Inayatullah Patwari, illegally cancelled the transfer without giving any kind of information or notice to the original owner.
As a result of this forgery, the old transfer was restored, and afterward two more transfers were also registered.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan, taking immediate action, registered a case against the accused and arrested the main accused, Tehsildar Abdul Ghaffar Notizai, while raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused involved, Nasruddin Qanungo and Inayatullah Patwari.
