Smart Card for Vehicles to be Issued in Balochistan

Quetta – The Excise and Taxation Department of Balochistan has finalized the decision to issue smart cards for vehicles in the province. Within the next two weeks, citizens will begin receiving their vehicle smart cards.
Secretary of Excise and Taxation Balochistan, Syed Zafar Ali Bukhari, confirmed that agreements have been made with two organizations, including the Government Printing Press in Karachi, to handle the issuance of the smart cards for Balochistan’s vehicle owners.
Following the launch of the new smart cards, the old vehicle book system will be discontinued. The new smart vehicle card will come with advanced features, and the vehicle owner will be required to pay a fee of Rs. 2500 for its issuance.
