PTI Leaders Announce Massive Participation from Gilgit-Baltistan in November 24 Islamabad March
Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders from Gilgit-Baltistan have confirmed that large contingents from across the region will join the November 24 Islamabad protest, with significant participation from all districts. Key leaders including Colonel Obaidullah Baig from Hunza, Syed Sohail Abbas from Gilgit’s constituency 3, and Raja Zakariya from Skardu will lead the charge, accompanied by a large number of PTI supporters from all parts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a joint statement, the PTI leadership called on the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to fulfill their civic duty and participate in the long march. They emphasized that the march is an opportunity for the people to raise their voices for their rights, and that this movement will be the starting point of a true change for the country. Former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan and senior PTI leader Khalid Khurshid announced that caravans from every district of the region will head to Islamabad for the November 24 protest. He stated that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have consistently stood by Imran Khan and PTI, demonstrating their loyalty during the previous government’s tenure when they actively participated in the long march. He said now, more than ever, it is time for the people of the region to prove their commitment once again.
Khurshid further emphasized that the movement for real freedom is critical for the region’s future, believing that its success will directly impact the resolution of Gilgit-Baltistan’s issues. He added that this march will be the largest in the history of the region, with caravans departing from every district, making it a monumental moment for both Gilgit-Baltistan and the country.

Ali Taj, the former spokesperson of PTI, also confirmed that thousands of people from all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan will travel to Islamabad in caravans. Under the leadership of Khalid Khurshid, the Gilgit caravan will depart on the morning of November 24 and is expected to reach Islamabad by evening. Taj highlighted that preparations for the long march are in full swing and that the march will break the record of previous PTI marches.
