Tosha Khana Case: No Charges Against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Yet
Islamabad: In the Tosha Khana 2 case, charges against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were not framed today either. The hearing took place at Adiala Jail, where Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand presided over the case.
Imran Khan was presented in court, but Bushra Bibi was absent. Her request for exemption from appearing in court was granted. Defense lawyers submitted a request to obtain the case records, and FIA prosecutors asked for more time to present the records.
It is important to note that during the previous hearing, Bushra Bibi had also failed to appear in court, leading to a notice for the cancellation of her bail. The court had stated that her bail would be revoked and the surety bonds would be forfeited due to her absence.
The case pertains to the alleged misuse of gifts from the Tosha Khana (state gift depository), which has been a significant point of contention for Imran Khan and his wife in recent legal proceedings.
