Murtaza Wahab Rejects Reports of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s Marriage
KARACHI:Reports circulating on various websites and social media platforms claiming that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s marriage has been finalized have been rejected as baseless.
The reports claimed that Bilawal Bhutto was set to marry a woman from a European country near Austria. It was also alleged that President Asif Ali Zardari was currently visiting the same European country to review arrangements for the wedding.
However, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has dismissed the reports, saying that the claims regarding Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s engagement or marriage are false and baseless.
Bilawal Bhutto has faced questions about his marriage plans from journalists on several occasions.
During an informal interaction with journalists in 2023, a reporter asked him when he planned to get married. Bilawal responded humorously but appeared irritated by the question, asking whether he or the journalist was supposed to get married and why the reporter was concerned about it.
He also jokingly asked whether the journalist had someone in mind for him if he was asking about his marriage.
The latest clarification from Murtaza Wahab makes it clear that the social media reports regarding Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s engagement and marriage have no factual basis.
