Petrol, Diesel Prices Increased; New Rates Take Effect Tonight

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.12 per litre, while diesel has become Rs1.11 per litre more expensive.

Following the increase, petrol will now cost Rs343.10 per litre, while the new price of diesel has been set at Rs371.80 per litre.

The new prices will take effect from midnight tonight and will remain applicable until August 25.

The latest adjustment comes amid ongoing changes in petroleum product prices based on prevailing market conditions.
