Three Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Zamyad Vehicle Accident in Washuk
WASHUK: Three people were killed and three others seriously injured when a Zamyad vehicle overturned in the Shamsi area of Washuk district.
According to sources, the accident occurred due to speeding. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn several times.
All those travelling in the vehicle were labourers who were reportedly on their way to work at a date-packing facility.
Following the incident, local administration officials, police and rescue volunteers reached the scene and launched relief operations. The bodies of the deceased and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Hospital sources said the injured were receiving medical treatment, with some reported to be in critical condition.
Police and relevant authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
