Funeral Prayers Held for Former Balochistan Governor Gen (Retd) Imranullah Khan in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: The funeral prayers for former Balochistan governor General (Retd) Imranullah Khan were offered in Utmanzai, Charsadda.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti attended the funeral prayers and expressed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.

Paying tribute to the late former governor, Chief Minister Bugti expressed deep sorrow over his death and praised his services to the country and Balochistan.

He described General (Retd) Imranullah Khan as a dignified, thoughtful and refined personality, saying his national and provincial services would always be remembered with respect.

Sarfraz Bugti said the late general had been a close friend of his late father, Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti, and that they had maintained a longstanding relationship and deep personal association.

He said the death of General (Retd) Imranullah Khan was the loss of a sincere, respected and kind-hearted personality. He added that the deceased had successfully performed various responsibilities during his career and earned a prominent place through his character and services.

The chief minister termed his death a major personal and national loss and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family during their difficult time.

Sarfraz Bugti prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the deceased, grant him a place in His mercy and give his family patience and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
