Government Will Implement Supreme Court Decision, Says Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah has said the government will implement the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the treatment of PTI founder Imran Khan.
Speaking on Geo News programme Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath, Rana Sanaullah said the court had reached its decision after considering the reports presented before it.
“This is a court decision, not the result of any political process,” he said, adding that the government had approached the Supreme Court seeking clarification regarding treatment at a private hospital.
Rana Sanaullah said the matter would become clearer after the next hearing and that the court’s decision would subsequently be implemented.
Commenting on political differences within the coalition, he said problems among coalition partners were normal and could be resolved through dialogue.
Referring to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s remarks, Rana Sanaullah said Bilawal had not meant that the entire situation was problematic, adding that whatever issues existed would be resolved.
The prime minister’s adviser also claimed that Pakistan had achieved significant military and diplomatic successes that were unprecedented in the world.
He further pointed out that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif had also been transferred from jail to a government hospital during his incarceration.
