Three Afghan Nationals Killed, One Injured in Firing on Car Near Quetta

QUETTA: Three Afghan nationals were killed and another was injured when unidentified motorcycle riders opened fire on a car near Mian Ghundi on the Quetta-Karachi highway.
According to police, the vehicle was travelling from Dalbandin to Gulistan when unidentified armed men riding motorcycles opened fire and fled the scene.
As a result of the firing, three people were killed while one sustained injuries. Police and security forces reached the site after receiving information about the incident, cordoned off the area and shifted the bodies and injured person to a hospital.
After completion of the necessary legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the victims’ families.
Police said all four people travelling in the vehicle were Afghan nationals and were on their way to Gulistan. Authorities are working to establish their identities and have launched an investigation into the incident.
