‘Every Liar in the World Is Sitting in PTI,’ Says Ihtisham Wali
ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Daily): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Ihtisham Wali Khan has launched a scathing attack on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), alleging that members and supporters of the party consider Imran Khan a leader greater than Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and do not accept the Two-Nation Theory.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Ihtisham Wali alleged that “every liar in the world is sitting in PTI” and questioned how patriotic figures such as Barrister Gohar, Ali Zafar, Umair Niazi and Asad Qaiser could be part of the party.
He accused PTI workers of becoming involved in movements he described as hostile to the state and alleged that the party had continued attempts to revive what he called the May 9 unrest.
“They chant slogans such as ‘No Khan, No Pakistan,’ compare Imran Khan with Quaid-e-Azam and ridicule Allama Iqbal’s dream,” he said, questioning what the party wanted for the country.
The prime minister’s special assistant also leveled serious allegations against the PTI government’s tenure, claiming that the second floor of the Prime Minister’s House had been turned into a “dance floor” where alcohol and dancing parties were allegedly held, while arrangements for what he described as black magic had also been made.
He further alleged that during tensions or conflict with India, PTI leaders had made statements suggesting that there was no fuel available for Pakistan’s tanks.
Speaking about political activities on Independence Day, Ihtisham Wali questioned why anyone would stage protests on the national day. He said the development was a source of concern for Pakistan’s enemies, particularly India, and criticized those who chose to protest instead of celebrating Independence Day.
He also urged other political parties to examine PTI’s conduct and said they should reconsider political cooperation with the party.
Criticizing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Ihtisham Wali claimed that PTI had been in power in the province for around 15 years. He alleged that despite slogans of a “State of Madinah” and “New Pakistan,” drug dealers, smugglers and individuals associated with the ice-drug trade had allegedly become influential in the provincial administration.
He further alleged that some people who previously could not afford basic meals had now become owners of continental hotels.
The PTI has previously rejected such allegations and political criticism from government figures, while its supporters maintain that the party and its leadership are being politically targeted.
