Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Reviews Development Projects During Dera Bugti Visit

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited his ancestral area of North Dera Bugti, where he met tribal elders and reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in the district.
During his visit, the chief minister held traditional Balochi consultations with tribal elders and discussed the prevailing situation in the region.
Sarfraz Bugti inspected several ongoing development projects and directed the authorities to accelerate work so that the schemes could be completed on time and their benefits reach ordinary citizens.
He said the timely provision of public services should be among the top priorities of government officials. He added that education and health remain key priorities of the provincial government.
The chief minister said hundreds of previously closed schools across Balochistan had been reopened and made operational, stressing that education is the foundation of the development of the country, nation and families.
Speaking about the security situation, Bugti said the operations of security forces against terrorism were helping ensure peace in the province. He said terrorists had lost their humanity by targeting innocent people.
The chief minister paid tribute to the sacrifices of security forces for restoring peace in Balochistan, saying their services would never be forgotten.
He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the country on Independence Day, saying the nation had not forgotten its great martyrs while celebrating the occasion.
The tribal elders thanked Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti for his visit and government initiatives. They said the launch of large-scale development projects in previously neglected areas was a major achievement of the provincial government.
The elders also said that alongside development projects, government measures in the health and education sectors were producing visible benefits for the people.
