Severe Cold Grips Balochistan as Temperatures Fall Below Freezing Point, Strong Winds Forecast

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** The Regional Meteorological Center Balochistan has forecast cold and dry weather across most parts of the province on Sunday. According to the weather outlook, Chagai, Washuk and Panjgur districts are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions, while strong winds are likely in Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Chagai, Gwadar, Pasni, Ormara, Jiwani and Noshki. These winds may intensify in some areas during the evening hours.

Minimum temperatures in Quetta, Chaman, Ziarat, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Mastung, Zhob and Kalat are expected to remain below the freezing point.

The weather is likely to remain cold and dry across most parts of the province on Monday as well. Partly cloudy conditions are again expected in Chagai, Washuk and Panjgur, while strong winds may blow during the afternoon and evening in Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Chagai, Gwadar, Pasni, Ormara, Jiwani and Noshki, with the possibility of severe gusts in some locations. Minimum temperatures in Quetta, Chaman, Ziarat, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Mastung, Zhob and Kalat are forecast to stay below zero.

Over the past 24 hours, cold and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Balochistan, with intense cold recorded during nighttime in northern and northwestern areas. Kalat recorded the lowest temperature at minus 5 degrees Celsius. No rainfall was reported in any part of the province during the last 24 hours.
