Armed Men Set Up Checkpoint on National Highway in Kachhi, Three Reportedly Abducted
Dera Murad Jamali: Dozens of unidentified armed men reportedly set up a checkpoint near the Dosa Lashari check post on the national highway in Kachhi district and stopped passenger vehicles for checking, with reports that three people were abducted.
According to reports, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Haji Shehar Police Station near the Dosa Lashari check post on the Double Road section of National Highway N-65.
The armed men reportedly stopped passenger vehicles and checked passengers’ identity cards and other documents during the snap checking.
Sources claimed that the armed men took three individuals with them after abducting them. However, the alleged abductions have not been officially confirmed by authorities so far.
The incident has raised concerns among passengers and motorists travelling along the national highway, while further details regarding the identities and whereabouts of the allegedly abducted individuals are awaited.
