Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal Condemns Kech IED Attack, Pays Tribute to Martyred Soldiers

Quetta:Head of Jhalawan Awami Panel, Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal, expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Captain Waqar and four other soldiers in the recent IED blast in Kech.

In a statement, Mengal said that the sacred blood of the martyrs will not go in vain. He condemned the attack, stating that “the evil designs of India will never succeed,” adding that cowardly assaults must be met with organized and effective retaliation.

The IED attack in Kech targeted a security forces’ vehicle, resulting in the martyrdom of Captain Waqar, Naik Junaid, Naik Ismat, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad, and Sepoy Zahoor, who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.

Mengal stressed that India’s hired agents and their local facilitators have unleashed a wave of brutality, which must be resisted with unity. “All communities living in Balochistan must stand together against this oppression,” he added.

He further said that the Jhalawan Awami Panel shares the grief of the martyrs’ families and prayed for the acceptance of their sacrifice and for patience and strength to the bereaved families.
