PTI Leader Abdullah Tahir Murder Case: Key Revelations Emerge About TikToker Allegedly Involved in Honey Trap

ISLAMABAD: Police have made important revelations about a TikToker allegedly involved in the honey-trap operation linked to the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abdullah Tahir.
According to police, the TikToker, identified as Lareeb, was a resident of Sialkot and had previously been married to the alleged leader of the shooters’ gang accused of killing Abdullah Tahir.
Police said Lareeb obtained a khula (Islamic divorce) from the gang leader and later married another man. After separating from her second husband, she reportedly re-established contact with the leader of the shooters’ gang.
According to investigators, the gang leader initially assigned Lareeb the task of luring Abdullah Tahir into a honey trap. The TikToker allegedly shared pictures with Abdullah Tahir, but when he did not respond, the gang leader changed the assignment.
Police said Lareeb was then instructed to honey-trap Abdullah Tahir’s driver. Investigators allege that she successfully lured the driver, which helped the gang execute the plan to murder Abdullah Tahir.
Police further claimed that the contract for Abdullah Tahir’s murder was worth more than Rs2 billion.
Investigations into the case are continuing, with police working to determine the roles of all individuals allegedly involved in the murder conspiracy.
