European Union Launches Skills Development Program in Pakistan to Address Labor Shortage in European Markets

To address the shortage of skilled workers in European markets, the European Union has decided to launch a skills development program in Pakistan.

A senior official from the EU confirmed this development, stating that there is a growing demand for skilled labor in European markets. The Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Pakistan, Philippe Olivier Gross, stated that the European Union is introducing a skills development program in Pakistan to enhance the technical capabilities of Pakistani workers.

He further explained that when skilled workers migrate to another country, both the migrants and the host countries benefit. Gross acknowledged the challenge of skill mismatch, noting that while Europe is facing a labor shortage, many Pakistani migrants do not meet the required skill levels.

This program aims to bridge that gap, providing Pakistani workers with the necessary training to fulfill the demand in European markets.
