Audio Call Emerges Hours Before Mir Raza’s Death; Father Denies Voice Belongs to His Son

KARACHI: An audio message allegedly sent by Karachi-based young businessman Mir Raza just hours before his death has surfaced, with Geo News obtaining the recording.

In the audio, the speaker can reportedly be heard discussing financial matters and payments.

However, Mir Raza’s father, Mir Hussain, has denied that the voice belongs to his son, alleging that the audio may have been produced as part of an attempt to complicate or undermine the case.

Speaking to Geo News, Mir Hussain questioned whether the audio recordings had undergone forensic examination.

“I have also seen an audio recording attributed to me. Yesterday, an audio recording allegedly belonging to my son was mentioned. Has anyone conducted a forensic examination of these recordings?” he questioned.

Mir Hussain further questioned the relevance of the audio calls to the case, insisting that neither the voice in the recording allegedly attributed to his son nor the one attributed to him belonged to them.

He said that after the post-mortem, a shell had reportedly been found, and now another audio recording had emerged during the process of exhuming Mir Raza’s grave.

The grieving father questioned who was producing or circulating the recordings and why they were being brought forward at this stage, saying he was unable to understand the purpose behind them.

The authenticity and source of the audio recording have not been independently established.
