Government Decides to Convene Joint Session of Parliament on January 24 for Key Legislation

Islamabad:The government has decided to convene a joint session of Parliament on January 24 to pass important legislation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent the advice to President Dr. Arif Alvi for calling the session.
According to parliamentary sources, the advice to convene the joint session was sent on Friday morning at 10 AM. The session will focus on the approval of several laws.
Sources indicate that these laws were unable to pass in both houses individually and will now be presented for approval in the joint session.
Additionally, the government has instructed members of the National Assembly and the Senate to remain in Islamabad and ensure their presence in the session. All members have been directed to attend the joint session to ensure quorum and smooth proceedings.
