Opposition Alliance Signals Willingness for Talks with Government

Islamabad: The opposition alliance Tehreek Tahaffuz Aain-e-Pakistan has expressed readiness to hold negotiations with the government and decided to give a positive response regarding dialogue.
According to sources, the decision was made during a consultative meeting of the opposition alliance held in Islamabad last night. The meeting was attended by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
Sources said the participants carefully reviewed recent statements by Rana Sanaullah. It was further reported that Salman Akram Raja, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and others advised the opposition leadership to establish contact with the government.
According to insiders, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas will move forward with the negotiation process following the alliance’s internal decisions. Opposition leaders are also expected to reach out to key government figures during the holy month of Ramadan to initiate formal dialogue.
