Balochistan Govt Orders Display of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Flags from August 8 to 10
QUETTA: The Balochistan government has directed authorities to display the national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia on government buildings, major roads and designated public places across the province from August 8 to 10, 2026, to mark the signing of the “Mecca Joint Defence Agreement.”
According to an official notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) of the Balochistan government, special instructions have been issued in accordance with the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Under the directives, the flags of the three brotherly countries will be prominently displayed and used for branding at government buildings, important highways and other designated public locations across Balochistan for three days, from Saturday, August 8, to Monday, August 10.
The notification stated that the celebrations would be held in a befitting manner to commemorate the historic defence agreement between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.
It further directed that all government buildings, including those of autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies and attached departments, be illuminated at night with green and red lights, with the lighting arrangements to be implemented alternately on different buildings.
The provincial government said the measures were intended to express solidarity and highlight the significance of the agreement between the three countries.
