Police Officer Foils Robbery Attempt in Mastung — One Robber Killed, Another Injured
*Mastung (Qudrat Daily)* — A **brave police officer** in Mastung foiled a motorcycle snatching attempt after engaging in a gun battle with two armed robbers, resulting in **one suspect being killed and another injured**, officials confirmed.
According to police, the incident occurred in the **Dasht Kambila area** when an **Eagle Squad officer** was traveling from Dasht to Mastung city for duty on Tuesday morning. Two armed men intercepted him and tried to snatch his motorcycle at gunpoint.
The officer, showing **remarkable presence of mind and courage**, retaliated with gunfire, killing one of the assailants identified as **Muhammad Yousaf, son of Muhammad Ali Shahwani**, on the spot. The second suspect, **Muhammad Hassan, son of Muhammad Azeem Bangulzai**, sustained injuries during the exchange.
Police said both suspects were residents of **Saryab Custom area in Quetta**. The **injured and deceased robbers were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Mastung**, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
