Torching Poor Citizens’ Vehicles in Mand and Tump Is Not Baloch Nationalism but Open Brutality: Mena Majeed
QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — In the session of the Balochistan Assembly, Advisor Sports Mena Majeed has said that during the terrorism incidents in Mand and Tump, poor Baloch citizens are being targeted and people’s vehicles are being set on fire by blocking roads.
She said that an elderly man used to earn a living by driving a vehicle between Mand and Turbat, but terrorists also set his vehicle on fire. According to her, torching the vehicles of poor and helpless people is not Baloch nationalism; rather, such actions cause economic loss to ordinary citizens.
Mena Majeed alleged that these elements are agents of India and have nothing to do with the rights of the people. She said that if these elements are limited to targeting poor and helpless people, they should surrender their weapons.
The Advisor Sports said that everyone will have to play their role to improve the situation in Balochistan. She urged the people to avoid facilitating terrorists and to stand with oppressed Baloch citizens.
She further said that the Baloch nation will not be frightened by such elements, and joint efforts are necessary for the protection of the people, the establishment of peace, and the improvement of the province’s situation.
