Floodwaters Recede at Ravi River as Low-Level Flooding Persists Elsewhere

Lahore:Floodwaters at **Head Sidhnai** on the Ravi River have receded, and water flow has returned to normal, according to the Flood Forecasting Division.

The Flood Forecasting Division in Lahore said that water inflow at **Sukkur Barrage** on the Indus River has increased to **278,000 cusecs**, resulting in a **low-level flood**. Low-level flooding also continues at **Kalabagh, Taunsa, and Guddu barrages**.

According to the **Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab**, water flow in most rivers across the province remains normal, although low-level flood conditions persist at Kalabagh and Taunsa on the Indus River.

Meanwhile, floodwaters from the **Chenab River** have inundated more than **two dozen settlements** in the Jalalpur Pirwala tehsil of Multan, forcing residents to evacuate. One person reportedly drowned in the floodwaters.

In **Sargodha**, heavy rainfall caused the roof of a dairy farm to collapse, killing **two children** and injuring **four others**. Separately, a railway track in **Sheikhupura** was damaged after being hit by a flash flood.
