KP CM Sohail Afridi Criticizes Punjab Government, Vows to Teach Them “Civility and Morality

**Lahore (Qudrat News):** Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi strongly criticized the federal and Punjab governments during a media interaction in the Punjab Assembly, asserting that he has not come to Lahore to learn anything but to teach the local rulers civility and ethics.

Afridi revealed that he intended to stay in Lahore until Sunday, but his convoy was reportedly stopped at Chakri Interchange by Punjab police, and his workers and leadership were allegedly harassed and jailed, which he described as an act of fascism.

Challenging the current government’s legal standing, Afridi claimed that the federal and Punjab authorities had won only 17 seats on February 8, and accused them of failing to serve the public, noting that the same individuals who once promised to sell their clothes for the people are now allegedly selling PIA.

He highlighted the economic decline in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that GDP, which was at 6% in 2022, has fallen to 2%, industries are leaving the country, and youth are so disillusioned that they would line up in crores outside foreign embassies if given a chance.

Responding to a journalist’s question about whether he plans to learn anything from Maryam Nawaz in Punjab, Afridi said that while he will not take the misbehavior directed at a Chief Minister with him, he will leave enough behind to ensure that the local rulers “learn civility and morality.”
