Balochistan Begins Implementing Agreement with Protest Committee

QUETTA:The Government of Balochistan has begun implementing the terms of its agreement with the protest committee, taking immediate steps to fulfill commitments made under the accord.
On the directives of Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti**,

the provincial government has decided to name public buildings, police stations, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities in Ziarat district after security personnel who were martyred while fighting terrorism.
The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister has issued official directives to the Home, Education, and Health Departments, instructing them to complete the renaming process and obtain approval from the relevant authorities.

Under the decision, four police stations in Ziarat will be renamed in honor of fallen personnel. Several government schools will also be renamed after martyred police constables, while selected healthcare facilities, including a Rural Health Centre and a Basic Health Unit, will be dedicated to the memory of the martyrs.Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the provincial government is fully committed to implementing every point of the agreement and honoring the promises made to the families of the martyrs.

He said the security personnel who sacrificed their lives for the country’s defense, peace, and the protection of citizens deserve the nation’s highest respect. Naming public institutions after them, he added, would preserve their legacy and inspire future generations with their courage and dedication.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Balochistan government would continue taking all necessary measures to support the families of the martyrs and ensure the timely implementation of all commitments made under the agreement.
