Four More Militants Killed in Balochistan Operation as Ziarat Sit-In Continues

Quetta:** Security forces have killed four more militants during the ongoing **Operation Shaban** in Balochistan, according to security sources, while protests by the families of police personnel killed in the Ziarat attack continue in Quetta and Ziarat.

Security sources said the joint operation by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police against what they described as **”Fitna-e-Al-Hindustan”** resulted in the deaths of four additional militants. The total number of militants killed during **Operation Shaban** has now reached **71**, while **109 militants** have reportedly been killed in operations since **July 5**.

Meanwhile, the sit-ins organized by the families of police personnel killed in the Ziarat terrorist attack remain underway. Despite two rounds of negotiations with a government delegation, talks have failed to produce an agreement.

The protesters are demanding the establishment of an independent judicial commission to investigate the Ziarat attack. Although the government delegation assured participants that their concerns would be addressed, the demonstrators have refused to end the protest.

According to reports, the bodies of **eight police personnel** remain in a container near the protest site, while other slain officers have already been laid to rest in Ziarat and Sanjavi.

The protests stem from the **July 7 terrorist attack** in the **Mangi area of Ziarat**, in which **30 police personnel** were killed.
