PkMAP Leader Ayaz Khan Jogezai Alleges Marginalization of Pashtuns, Calls for Unity Amid Balochistan Unrest

Quetta: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Central Secretary Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai has alleged that Pashtuns are facing continued violence, discrimination, and exploitation, while calling for unity to address the security and political challenges in Balochistan.

Addressing a protest sit-in on Airport Road in Quetta against the recent Hanna Urak attack, Jogezai expressed solidarity with the families of those killed and abducted in the Hanna Urak and Ziarat incidents. He said his party fully supported the protesters’ demands and urged authorities to resolve the issues without delay.

Jogezai claimed that natural resources in Pashtun-majority areas were being exploited and criticized ongoing security operations, alleging that they had caused destruction without addressing the intended targets. He also questioned the activities of armed groups operating in the region and called for greater accountability.

The PkMAP leader further alleged that narcotics were being used to undermine young people in the province, claiming that drug abuse was spreading into educational institutions and contributing to rising insecurity. He also raised concerns about unemployment, economic hardship, and the safety of workers in the mining sector.

Calling for political and social unity, Jogezai urged people to put aside internal differences and work together to safeguard their communities and resources. He said the party would continue to stand with the affected families and support their demands through peaceful political means.
