Balochistan CM Meets Folk Singer Gul Mir Jamali, Pledges Support for Local Artists
Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** met renowned folk singer **Gul Mir Jamali** from Nasirabad at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, reaffirming his government’s commitment to promoting the province’s cultural heritage and supporting local artists.
During the meeting, Gul Mir Jamali described the opportunity to meet the chief minister as one of the most memorable moments of his life. He thanked Mir Sarfraz Bugti for his encouragement and performed traditional songs to express his appreciation and admiration.
The chief minister praised Jamali’s artistic talent, saying that Balochistan’s folk artists are true ambassadors of the province’s culture, traditions, and positive identity.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said it is the government’s responsibility to encourage local art and artists, adding that talented individuals like Gul Mir Jamali would continue to receive support and recognition.
