Mystery ‘Boss’ Emerges as Key Figure in Lahore Assault Case Investigation
Lahore: A mysterious figure referred to only as the “Boss” has emerged as a central point of interest in the ongoing investigation into the high-profile case involving the alleged abduction and sexual assault of foreign women in Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
According to the reported sworn statements of Spanish national Astrid Robins and her companion Stephanie, the alleged perpetrators repeatedly referred to a person they called the “Boss,” who was said to be directing their actions throughout the incident.
The women alleged that while they were being held against their will, stripped, and pressured to reveal their bank account passwords, the suspects remained in constant contact with someone over the phone, seeking instructions from the individual they addressed as the “Boss.”
The complainants also claimed that one of the suspects spoke fluent English and allegedly threatened that they would not leave alive if they refused to hand over money or passwords. Investigators are examining whether this individual or another person giving instructions by phone may be linked to the alleged mastermind behind the operation.
According to the statements, phone calls reportedly continued even after the arrival of the main accused, Raza Dar, and after a green bag was allegedly taken into his possession, suggesting that the unidentified individual remained informed of developments throughout the incident.
The victims further alleged that another suspect dressed in black took one of them to the second floor, while an older man stood guard with a rifle. They claimed the conversations among the suspects suggested they were acting under orders from a superior.
The identity of the alleged “Boss” has not been officially confirmed by investigators, and no law enforcement agency has publicly identified or charged any individual under that title. Authorities continue to investigate the case, and the allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings and the outcome of the official investigation.
