UAE Announces Lower Fuel Prices for July 2026 After Four Consecutive Monthly Increases

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates’ Fuel Price Committee has announced new petrol and diesel prices for July 2026, bringing significant relief to consumers after four consecutive months of fuel price increases. The revised rates will take effect from July 1, 2026.

According to Gulf media reports, the new fuel prices are as follows:

Super 98 petrol: AED 3.40 per litre, down from AED 3.95 in June, a decrease of AED 0.55 per litre.
Special 95 petrol: AED 3.29 per litre, compared with AED 3.83 in June, a reduction of AED 0.54 per litre.
E-Plus 91 petrol: AED 3.21 per litre, down from AED 3.76, marking a decrease of AED 0.55 per litre.
Diesel: AED 3.60 per litre, compared with AED 4.33 in June, reflecting the largest reduction of AED 0.73 per litre.

The decline follows a downward trend in global crude oil prices during June, which raised expectations that domestic fuel prices would also be reduced in July.

According to the reports, fuel prices in the UAE had risen by more than 60 percent since the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East on February 28, 2026, placing additional pressure on household budgets and transport costs.

The reduction in petrol and diesel prices is expected to provide financial relief not only to private motorists but also to the transportation and logistics sectors, where fuel costs are a major operating expense.
