Five Injured in Shooting Near Clifton Two Swords in Karachi

Karachi:** Five people were injured after unidentified armed men opened fire near the Clifton Two Swords area, close to the licensing office, police said.

According to police, statements have been recorded from four of the injured, who belong to **Gujranwala** in Punjab.

The victims were traveling in a rickshaw as part of a **Faizan-e-Madina** group and were on their way to visit the **Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine** when the incident occurred.

One of the injured, **Hafiz Mohsin**, told police that armed men signaled the rickshaw to stop near Two Swords. When the driver refused to halt, the assailants opened fire on the vehicle.

Police said the attackers also snatched mobile phones from all the victims before fleeing the scene.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine whether it was a case of robbery resistance or whether another motive was involved. Further investigations are underway.
