Sohail Afridi’s Long March Has Become a ‘Short-Term March’ in Support of Terrorists, Says Uzma Bukhari
Punjab Information Minister Accuses PTI Leadership of Being Held Hostage by ‘Container Performer’

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that Sohail Afridi’s long march has turned into a “short-term march” that is being staged in support of terrorists.
In a statement, Bukhari said that while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing terrorism, Sohail Afridi was busy standing atop a container. She maintained that the march was neither in the interest of PTI founder Imran Khan nor the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The province is unsafe, but the march moving freely on the roads is completely safe,” she remarked.
The provincial information minister said security forces were sacrificing their lives to protect the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while a person standing on a container was mocking the same forces and expressing sympathy towards terrorists.
She alleged that PTI’s senior leadership had been held hostage by a “clown” whom she described as a “container performer.”
Bukhari said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the province most severely affected by terrorism, adding that the sacrifices made by its police personnel and people in the fight against terrorism were unforgettable.
She further claimed that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa themselves were demanding an end to PTI’s rule and what she called an incompetent group.
The minister also alleged that after being rejected by the public, AI-generated videos were being produced and circulated on social media.
