Husband Allegedly Kills Wife and Her Parents in Dera Murad Jamali Shooting
DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three people, including a woman and her parents, were shot dead in an alleged domestic violence incident in Dera Murad Jamali on Tuesday, police said.
According to police officials, the incident occurred in the Iqbal Town area, where the suspect, identified as Israr Ahmed, allegedly entered a house and opened indiscriminate fire.
As a result, his wife, identified as Konj Bibi, her father Yaseen Khan, and her mother Madiha Bibi were killed on the spot. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the site and took the bodies into custody before shifting them to the Teaching Hospital for legal formalities and post-mortem examination.
Law enforcement authorities have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect. Police said further legal proceedings are underway.
The motive behind the killings has not yet been determined, and investigations are continuing.
