PTI Leaders’ Internal Dispute Spills Into Public View

Islamabad: An internal dispute among leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reportedly spilled into the open, with details of the confrontation emerging from recent political gatherings.

According to sources, the disagreement took place during a session of the National Assembly involving PTI leaders Junaid Akbar, Iqbal Afridi, and Sibghatullah.

Sources claimed that tensions flared after Iqbal Afridi pointed out a lack of quorum during the assembly proceedings, a move that reportedly angered Junaid Akbar. The situation escalated, but Sibghatullah allegedly intervened to prevent a physical altercation between the two leaders.

The dispute reportedly continued later outside Adiala Jail, where the same leaders were present. According to the sources, Iqbal Afridi allegedly called associates to the location in an attempt to confront Junaid Akbar and Sibghatullah over the earlier disagreement.

No official statement has yet been issued by the PTI leadership regarding the reported incident, and the claims remain based on accounts provided by sources familiar with the matter.
