MrBeast Shares Surprising Experience of Collaborating with Cristiano Ronaldo

Karachi: Popular YouTuber MrBeast has opened up about his experience working with football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, revealing that the Portuguese icon gave him far more time than expected and even invited him to his home after filming.

Speaking on a recent podcast, MrBeast said he initially assumed that Ronaldo’s busy schedule would allow only a very limited amount of time for their collaboration.

“I thought we would only get a few minutes with him, so I designed the entire concept of the video around that assumption,” he explained.

According to MrBeast, he was determined to respect Ronaldo’s time and make the filming process as efficient as possible. However, the reality turned out to be completely different from what he had anticipated.

He recalled that Ronaldo personally told him they could take as much time as needed to create the best possible content and that there was no pressure to rush through the shoot.

The collaboration later became one of the biggest online projects of 2024, featuring Ronaldo’s YouTube video, “I Met MrBeast to Break the Internet,” and MrBeast’s video, “Beat Ronaldo, Win $1 Million.”

Both videos quickly went viral and played a significant role in boosting the early popularity of Ronaldo’s YouTube channel.

MrBeast said the most surprising part of the experience came after filming had wrapped up, when Ronaldo invited him to visit his home.

“I tried several times not to take up more of his time,” he said, adding that Ronaldo insisted they spend time together without cameras or content creation obligations.

During the visit, the two reportedly enjoyed informal conversations and spent time together away from the spotlight.

MrBeast praised Cristiano Ronaldo as an exceptionally kind and hospitable person, saying his personal experience was far better than he had expected.

He explained that his initial impression of Ronaldo had been shaped by the football legend’s global fame and demanding schedule. However, after meeting him in person, that perception changed completely.

“Ronaldo turned out to be incredibly generous with his time and genuinely welcoming,” MrBeast said, describing the encounter as one of the most memorable collaborations of his career.
