Schumer Slams Trump Over Iran War, Calls It a Costly Foreign Policy Failure

Washington:** US Senate Democratic Leader **Chuck Schumer** has sharply criticized President Donald Trump over the Iran conflict, accusing him of causing confusion, chaos, and heavy financial costs for the American public.

Speaking in the Senate, Schumer said that every passing moment of the war was increasing the burden on US taxpayers, claiming that Americans had already “paid the price” for what he called Trump’s historic mistake in Iran.

He argued that the conflict would go down in history as one of the worst foreign policy campaigns undertaken by the United States or any other country.

Schumer further stated that the Trump administration had failed to achieve its stated objectives in the war, adding that neither the President, Vice President JD Vance, nor the Secretary of State had provided clear answers to the public regarding the situation.

He also alleged that the details of any potential agreement or “secret deal” had not been disclosed, claiming that officials were avoiding transparency because they were aware of their poor performance.

According to Schumer, the lack of clarity surrounding the deal has fueled public uncertainty, and he called for an end to the conflict, stating that the war should never have been initiated in the first place.
