ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket star and former captain Babar Azam has expressed his best wishes for the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team as they begin their campaign in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Taking to social media, Babar wished the national women’s side success in the tournament, saying, “Good luck to our women’s team for the T20 World Cup.”

He encouraged the players by stating that they carry Pakistan’s flag and the hopes of the nation with them. “The entire nation’s prayers are with you. Go out there and make us proud,” he wrote.

Babar also emphasized the importance of supporting the players, saying that this is the time to stand behind the team and encourage them throughout the tournament.
