PCB Summons Top White-Ball Performers for Fitness and Performance Camp in Lahore

Lahore:The **Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)** has called up **22 top white-ball performers** for a short assessment camp in Lahore from **June 3 to 5**, sources confirmed on Monday.

The selected players include a mix of **Pakistan Super League (PSL)** and **domestic cricket** standouts. Notable names among the invitees are:

**Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique, Saud Shakeel, Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi, Haider Ali, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Amir Jamal, Tayyab Tahir, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, and Mehran Mumtaz**, among others.

According to sources, players will be **divided into three groups** and participate in **separate training and evaluation sessions** over the three days. The camp will focus primarily on **fitness and recent performances**.

The PCB will also use this opportunity to **brief players on the board’s future plans**, particularly in the white-ball format.

Head Coach **Mike Hesson**, along with other coaching staff, is expected to **meet with the players individually and collectively**, to discuss their roles, readiness, and the **future direction of Pakistan’s limited-overs cricket**.

Senior players are expected to attend different group sessions as part of the board’s broader efforts to assess readiness ahead of upcoming international assignments.
