Mount Uhud is a Mountain of Paradise – Meaning of Hadith

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it.”

Translation:
“Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it, and it is one of the mountains of Paradise.”

This narration is mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Mount Uhud, located in Madinah, holds great significance in Islamic history. The Battle of Uhud took place at its foothills, where many noble companions of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) were martyred.

The mountain remains a symbol of sacrifice, faith, and deep spiritual connection in Islamic tradition.
