Quetta Acid Attack Victim Dr. Mah Noor Retains Vision, Family Says
QUETTA: The family of Dr. Mah Noor, a woman doctor who was injured in an acid attack in Quetta, has confirmed that her eyesight remains intact and that she is showing encouraging signs of recovery.
Speaking to the media, family members said that Dr. Mah Noor is fully conscious and able to communicate with those around her.
According to the family, the burn injuries sustained by the doctor are superficial in nature. Medical teams are currently carrying out procedures to remove damaged skin from the affected areas, while skin grafting surgeries are being conducted in phases as part of her treatment.
The family further stated that Dr. Mah Noor’s vision has been preserved and that she continues to receive medical care under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors.
Doctors are closely monitoring her condition as treatment and recovery efforts continue.
