Evening Review Meeting Held in Sibi for Polio Campaign, DC Orders Vaccination of All Remaining Children

Sibi (Qudrat Daily) – An evening review meeting of the polio campaign was held on the final day under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kabezai, to assess the status of children missed during the campaign, including those from non-compliant and absentee parents.
It was decided in the meeting that all remaining children must be immediately vaccinated, and re-vaccination teams were dispatched for this purpose. Assistant Commissioner Sibi, Mansoor Ali Shah, visited various areas and, along with field teams, ensured that the remaining children received polio drops.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Major (R) Ilyas Kabezai directed that today all remaining children, including those of non-compliant parents, must be fully informed and administered polio drops. He personally contacted the parents of hesitant children to explain the importance of vaccination, after which teams were sent to their homes to vaccinate the children.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy should be followed to ensure the complete eradication of polio, and that 100% coverage must be achieved under all circumstances.
