Public Property and Loss of Lives Incidents Condemned: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party

Quetta – The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) has strongly condemned incidents involving damage to public property and loss of human lives, terming them unacceptable and a serious concern.

A meeting of the PkMAP District Quetta Executive Committee was held at the party’s central secretariat under the chairmanship of Senior Vice President and District Secretary Syed Sharaf Agha. Central Secretary Jabar Khan Utmankhel also attended the session.

The meeting reviewed the party’s organizational and political activities in District Quetta, including matters related to regional units, tehsil conferences, membership drives, public outreach campaigns, and public issues.

Participants highlighted several public grievances and urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps for their resolution. The meeting specifically discussed deteriorating law and order conditions in various areas of Quetta, including Panjpai, Nohsar, Ghbarg, Sar Ghurgai, Hanna, Soreen, Kuchlak, Zarghoon Ghar, Mangla, Chaman Phatak, and others, and strongly condemned recent incidents of terrorism, arson, and loss of civilian lives.

The party leaders stated that protecting public life and property is the responsibility of the government, but alleged that the authorities have failed to fulfill their duties effectively.

The meeting also strongly condemned the acid attack on female doctor Mah Noor Nassar, demanding immediate investigation into the incident. It further stated that the killing of the accused by police has complicated the matter and created additional difficulties for patients in hospitals.

Participants said that the citizens of Quetta are facing severe issues, including unannounced electricity load shedding, transformer failures, gas shortages, rising street crime, shortage of clean drinking water, poor sanitation, corruption under the “Safa Project,” weak performance of price control committees, and harassment of small traders, laborers, and street vendors. They also criticized traffic police actions, alleging excessive fines and anti-public behavior.

The meeting announced that the PkMAP District Quetta Committee meeting will be held on June 13 (Saturday) at 4:00 PM at the party’s central secretariat, where various decisions will be finalized. All district executive and committee members have been directed to ensure their participation.
