Female Doctor Injured in Acid Attack in Quetta Shifted to Karachi for Treatment

A female doctor injured in a recent acid attack in Quetta has been transferred to a private hospital in Karachi, where she is currently receiving treatment.

According to hospital sources, the condition of the doctor is out of danger. However, after initial treatment and several medical tests, she has been admitted to the plastic surgery ward for further care.

Doctors said that the victim, identified as Dr. Mah Noor, suffered burns on approximately 13 percent of her body. Her eyes were also affected in the incident, but her eyesight has reportedly been saved.

Hospital administration stated that her condition is being continuously monitored, and a team of specialist doctors is actively involved in her treatment and recovery process.

Meanwhile, the Young Doctors Association in Quetta has launched a protest in response to the incident, boycotting duties in outpatient departments (OPDs) and wards.

The attack has sparked concern within the medical community, with calls for stronger security measures and strict action against those responsible.
