Major Security Operation in Eight Districts of Balochistan: 32 Terrorists Killed, 11 Arrested

Quetta: Security forces conducted large-scale operations across eight districts of Balochistan, including Panjgur, Kharan, Qalat, Mastung, Turbat, and Quetta, targeting terrorist elements in what is being described as the most successful counter-terrorism actions to date. During these operations, 32 terrorists affiliated with the banned BLA were killed, 17 were injured, and 11 were captured alive.

The most significant success occurred in Panjgur, where a key BLA commander, Nazir alias Chakar, along with seven associates, was eliminated. In Kharan, modern drone technology was used to target a terrorist vehicle, killing four extremists.

The arrested terrorists admitted that they had been sent from launch pads located in Afghanistan’s Kunar and Kandahar provinces. Trucks seized in Washuk and Qalat were found carrying U.S.-supplied weapons intended for use in Afghanistan, highlighting cross-border facilitation of militant activities.

Federal Interior Minister and military spokespersons emphasized that elements obstructing Balochistan’s development will be eradicated. These successful operations demonstrate that terrorism, supported by external backers, is facing its final phase in Pakistan against the country’s intelligence and military forces.
