Trump Says Iran Will Eventually Have No Choice but to Reach a Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran will ultimately have no option but to agree to a deal, claiming that the country has only 21 to 22 percent of its missile stockpile remaining.
In an interview with NBC News, President Trump said that resolving the conflict would take time and could not be achieved overnight. He stated that Iran would eventually be forced to take steps it had never imagined and insisted that Tehran had not agreed to a ceasefire arrangement.
Trump said Iran had not accepted a deal because it considered itself strong and proud. He also remarked that if he were a Democrat, no one would be asking when the war would be won.
Earlier, while speaking to reporters, Trump said his administration was achieving tremendous success regarding Iran. He reiterated that Iran would not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons and claimed that the country was not in a position to obtain them.
The U.S. president also commented on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that many oil tankers had continued to pass through the waterway. He expressed confidence that the crisis surrounding the strait would not take long to resolve.
Trump added that oil prices are expected to decline once conditions in the Strait of Hormuz return to normal and suggested that prices could potentially fall even below previous levels.
